It's Dance Dance Music Time! These are the songs helpin' me through the day...
Amanda Blank featuring Spank Rock - Gimme What you Got
I can't get enough of this chick! I first fell for her in the Diplo remix of Santogold's I'm a Lady, but now her coo-ing and me-ows are stuck on me... swoon
Tiesto featuring Tegan and Sara - I feel It In My Bones
Is gearing up for another tour. I can't wait! Tiesto: I'll See you in Nashville! xoxoxo
Kid CuDi featuring MGMT and Ratatat - Pursuit of Happiness
a sweet lil' mix, bringing together 3 of my newest fave artists. This one has probably played like 12+ times today!
Google (the master of my life) is teaming up with Hasbro for a version of Monopoly using GoogleMaps. There officially goes the 10% of efficient work I had left.
The preview site reads:
On the 9th SEPTEMBER, a world of property empire building on an unimaginable scale will be launched! A live worldwide game of MONOPOLY using Google Maps as the game board. The goal is simple. Play to beat your friends and the world to become the richest property magnate in existence.
Own any street in the world. Build humble houses, crazy castles and stupendous skyscrapers to collect rent. Use MONOPOLY Chance Cards to sabotage your mates by building Hazards on their streets.
Thanks for coming back and bringing us these great images (via)
Above: Stars Bursting to Life in Chaotic Carina Nebula
These two images of a huge pillar of star birth demonstrate how observations taken in visible (top) and in infrared light (bottom) by Hubble reveal dramatically different and complementary views of an object.
Composed of gas and dust, the pillar resides in a tempestuous stellar nursery called the Carina Nebula, located 7,500 light-years away in the southern constellation Carina.

Mashable found this great site, The People of Walmart. I have to say, I don't really need another reason to mock walmart and it's shoppers, but (in a GOB fashion) 'Come On?!' This is really a knee slapper. Unfortunately, I have not been able to connect to the actual site and Mashable is reporting due to a fortunate story of the site in TIME the site hasn't been able to handle it's new traffic. (via)
Design Vagabond (a fave blog of mine) has been posting some outstanding color palettes lately. Most recent of which is a beautiful Vintage-esque Autumn Palette I just can't get enough... I anticipate some future painting of my place in this palette!
Ever wonder how to make it big? In these uncertain economic times you have to be willing to do anything to make it, especially as an architect. I mean, you can't become a Star-itect over night (even Maya Lin didn't have it easy, that whore!). Luckily there are guidelines for makin' it big. Notes on Becoming a Famous Architect is a great lil' site with great lil' illustrations on takin the architecture world by storm! Enjoy! and definatly check out the diagram on #62
