{ Modern Quilt }

I've been dying for a more modern everyday quilt, I am in LOVE with Nubbytwiglet's design for the blogacademy (someone please send me to one!) and have been obsessed with finding a quilt similar to that design. I feel like I keep seeing it, but can't find it... I know, that makes no sense! But I finally did! well... sort of... The lovely lady, Kate, of See Kate Sew. Posted an adorbs quilt she made (and a how to!) for a cute lil' babe. It's pink, but it has that fractal pattern I love so much. Now to make mine but with greys and aqua! {via}

{ Batman is Architecture Obsessed }

Batman: Death By Design is the first graphic novel from writer / designer, Chip Kidd and illustrator Dave Taylor. This sneak peek of the novel centers Batman around the concrete canyons of Gotham City, where suspicious building accidents place Batman at odds with both The Joker and a mystery man named Exacto. Exacto is new to the Batman scene and is VERY architecture-based... don't know if that makes sense, but this totally reminds me of a few super heros sketches I did of my classmates my first year in architecture school...
